Bear Dance Crafts is an online craft supply shop located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

It all started over 25 years ago, when founder Natalie was inspired to start creating wool felt toys, dolls and decorations for children, their friends and others. As it was almost impossible to find 100% wool felt and Waldorf-style cloth doll making supplies in Canada (or USA) back then, so Natalie started importing what was needing to fuel her obsession. Then in the year 2000, Bear Dance Crafts was born as was a way to offer quality natural craft supplies ‘officially’ to others, first in Victoria, then in the Kootenays (and now back on Vancouver Island). Without a brick & mortar store we reached people mainly by sending them a paper mail order catalogue, talk about old-school!
